Robert Altman's very strange cult classic that brought the classic comic Popeye The Sailor Man to life. Starring Robin Williams in his first big time role on the silver screen as our Sailor Man Popeye and the wonderful and Altman frequent, Shelley Duvall as Olive Oyl. The movie didn't do too well at the box office and many said the soundtrack was the star of the flick. Harry Nilsson was in charge of the tunes and made for wild ride musically throughout the film. Most notably "He Needs Me".
